What?! Have You Tried It?

recently participated in a discussion at www.ipvm.com.
The topic was panoramic cameras, both single- and multi-sensor varieties.
The IPVM survey asked integrators about cameras, “Panoramic: Fisheye vs Multi-Imager Usage.”
Because we at DW®® are all about ease of use, and because the biggest barrier to adding these versatile cameras to a system is the ease of installation and the ease of use (or perceived lack of ease), I mentioned how easy it is to handle panoramic cameras in DW Spectrum® IPVMS.
An ipvm.com subscriber responded to me and said,
“There are dozens and dozens similar products around and there is nothing special about DW Spectrum.”
I did not reply to that comment directly in the discussion (other than thanking him and others for their comments), but what I wanted to say was this:
“The only person who would say that there is nothing special about DW Spectrum® IPVMS is a person who has never used DW Spectrum® IPVMS.”
I have lived long enough to be an older gentleman compared to some, and as such, I like old adages. One of my favorites as a marketing guy is, “The proof of the pudding is in the eating.”
I want to state again our assertion that there is nothing else like DW Spectrum® IPVMS on the market, and you can easily “prove” that yourself.

Single Download
For Windows® PCs, we offer eight (8) .exe files that you can download and run to get the DW Spectrum® IPVMS experience of one demonstration video playing in a standalone DW Spectrum® player.
One or Two Downloads
You can download, for free, the full DW Spectrum® IPVMS server (Windows® PC or Linux®) or the full DW Spectrum® IPVMS client (Windows® PC, Mac® or Linux®). Additionally, if you need them, there are eight (8) .avi demonstration files you can download to play within your DW Spectrum® IPVMS.
If you plug your existing video surveillance system’s IP address into DW Spectrum® IPVMS, you might be surprised by how quickly it finds the devices on your network. We believe you will be surprised by how easily you can work with the camera feeds.
If you have used DW Spectrum® IPVMS and truly find nothing unique about it, please tell me about your experience.
