5MP 180° and 360° Hemispheric Fisheye Camera
Fisheye Cameras can monitor an entire area with a single camera, providing the ultimate ROI wit a wide-angle fisheye lens that provides edge-to-edge image clarity. Digital Watchdog's Fisheye cameras are optimized for use with DW Spectrum® IPVMS for easy dewarping to 360°, 180° and 90° views with the click of the mouse.
Smart IR™
Smart IR™ adjusts the image for IR cameras to eliminate LED light reflection and white spots in the image. By breaking down the camera’s field of view into five zones, Smart IR allows for even distribution of the IR light. This prevents excessive illumination on images that are in the front of the scene and offers a clear image in B/W without any loss of detail.

Frequently asked questions
Q. Are DW cameras ONVIF compliant?
A. Yes, all DW cameras are ONVIF Profile S Compliant with the exception of our Panzilla.
Q. Can I record to my camera as a stand-alone?
A. Yes, as long as the camera has an SD card slot available and an SD card no larger than 64GB. For further details on how to, please refer to your camera's manual.
Q. Can my camera be accessed remotetly?
A. Yes, the camera may be accessed remotely as long as the appropriate port forwarding rules have been created on the router. Please refer to your camera's manual.
Q. How can I locate cameras on my network?
A. To locate cameras on your local network you can use IP_Finder located on our website for download. Or you can also locate cameras using a 3rd party application such as ODM (ONVIF DEVICE MANAGER) available online.
Q. How can I upgrade the firmware to my cameras?
A. The camera's firmware can be updated via the Internet Explorer browser. Many of our DW cameras firmware can be updated with the latest DW IP_Finder located on our website for download. This software is only Windows-based applicable.
Q. Is there a DW application available to view my camera?
A. There is no application other than the Internet Explorer browser to view stand-alone DW cameras.
Q. There are horizontal rolling bars on the monitor.

This is a video ground loop due to more than one ground between camera and monitor/head-end

Ground Loop problems can be resolved by making sure that only one end of any video cable is
connected to a local ground. Make sure the video cable shields do not come into direct contact with
each other to prevent unintentional local grounding.

  1. Tape all connectors in such situations to minimize this risk.
  2. Keep camera runs as short as possible with all video cables cut to fit. Excess cable left along any run can increase the risk of interference.
  3. At the monitor end make sure all the CCTV equipment is connected to same power point to provide a common local ground.
  4. Implement a ground loop isolator
Q. What are the default credentials for DW cameras?
A. The majority of our DW cameras have a default username and password of admin/admin. Please refer to your camera manual or the Quick Setup Guide.
