The STAR-LIGHT™ 37x Pan Tilt Zoom Camera is a high performance, super speed PTZ with a 37x optical zoom lens and 16X digital zoom for an incredible total zooming capability of 592x. Our STAR-LIGHT™ technology increases the length of time the shutter remains open to collect additional ambient light, revealing details in typically dark environments. The camera provides a 0-360° endless pan and 360° per second pan speed, always moving between view points by using the shortest path. The 37x PTZ is IP66 weather resistant. The PTZ37XFM is the in-ceiling flush mount version of the DWC-PTZ37X and includes the wiring module in the camera’s housing.

Q. There are horizontal rolling bars on the monitor.
A.

This is a video ground loop due to more than one ground between camera and monitor/head-end

Ground Loop problems can be resolved by making sure that only one end of any video cable is
connected to a local ground. Make sure the video cable shields do not come into direct contact with
each other to prevent unintentional local grounding.

  1. Tape all connectors in such situations to minimize this risk.
  2. Keep camera runs as short as possible with all video cables cut to fit. Excess cable left along any run can increase the risk of interference.
  3. At the monitor end make sure all the CCTV equipment is connected to same power point to provide a common local ground.
  4. Implement a ground loop isolator
