Changes Are Coming to myDW

Effective January 31st, 2025, we are officially phasing out our myDW 1.0 solution for all customers. To see how it will impact your services, please refer to our FAQ below.
What is happening to myDW™?

myDW™ 1.0 is transitioning to myDW™ 2.0. myDW™ 1.0 will no longer be accessible at any user level after January 31st, 2025.

I am an installer/system integrator; what does this mean for my systems and my customers?

As an installer, you will no longer have access to your systems and customers’ systems in myDW™ 1.0 after January 31st, 2025.

As an installer, you will need to register for a new account in myDW™ 2.0. As an installer, you will need to register all your devices and invite your customers to myDW™ 2.0.

Can I still access my system?

While support is shutting down for myDW™ 1.0 as we migrate to the new myDW™ 2.0, you still have access to your systems, users and alerts until January 31st, 2025. After January 31st, 2025, you will no longer have access to your systems in myDW 1.0.

After January 31st, 2025, myDW 1.0 will be considered EOL. You will not have access to your systems, users, or alerts, and you will need to register for a new account in myDW 2.0.

Will I still get notifications and system updates from my systems?

While support is shutting down for myDW™ 1.0 as we migrate to the new myDW™ 2.0, you still have access to your systems, users and alerts until January 31st, 2025. After January 31st, 2025, you will no longer have access to your systems in myDW 1.0.

After January 31st, 2025, myDW 1.0 will be considered EOL. You will not have access to your systems, users, or alerts, and you will need to register for a new account in myDW 2.0.

Once you register with myDW™ 2.0, add your systems and create new notifications and alert rules, you will be able to receive notifications for your systems again.

If you need help with registration, please contact myDWsupport@digital-watchdog.com.

Can I still add new systems to my myDW™ account?

myDW 1.0 will be obsolete on January 31st, 2025. You will no longer have access to those systems past the EOL date. We recommend adding any new systems to myDW 2.0

Can I download or save my system information?

Yes! contact myDWsupport@digital-watchdog.com for assistance to get your data via a secured method. We will provide a CSV file with IP addresses and system names. Please note you will not be able to import this file into myDW™ 2.0. myDW™ 2.0 is a completely redesigned platform and will require installers to add all their systems from scratch.

Can I delete my data or purge the app to remove all my data once it’s EOL?

You may delete your data before the EOL date of January 31st, 2025. After January 31st, 2025, data will be automatically deleted. DW will not retain access to your data and will not be able to access it.

What does EOL mean for my myDW™ account and systems?

myDW™ 1.0 will become EOL (end of life) on January 31st, 2025. This means that all accounts, systems, and users will be deactivated, and all encrypted information will be deleted. Support will no longer be available for myDW™ 1.0 after January 31st, 2025.

Once myDW™ 2.0 is launched and you receive your invitation to register with the new platform, you will need to re-create your accounts, systems, reports and alerts.

Can I still access my systems after phase 2 of the myDW™ update?

Unfortunately, once myDW™ 1.0 is EOL, you will no longer have access to your systems through myDW 1.0.

However, you may access your systems through myDW 2.0 after registration. You will need to readd your systems on myDW™ 2.0. They will not migrate automatically.

When will myDW™ 2.0 be available?

myDW™ 2.0 Beta is ETA January 31st, 2025 – by invitation only.

What happens when I go to http://mydw.cloud?

myDW.cloud and beta.mydw.cloud both redirect users to myDW 2.0. You will need a new myDW 2.0 account to login.
