New 256GB and 512GB storage options give integrators more flexibility across seven camera designs.

Cerritos, CA (October 6, 2026) – Digital Watchdog® (DW), the industry leader in cloud-centric digital recorders, surveillance cameras, perimeter protection devices, system peripherals and related management software, announces 14 new MEGApix Ai CloudCam cameras with 256GB or 512GB of onboard recording storage. Joining the existing 1TB models, the additions offer more storage choices across 12MP fisheye, 4K dome and bullet, and 5MP turret and vehicle-recognition cameras.

"Integrators asked for CloudCam's all-in-one simplicity at more storage levels, and we delivered," said Patrick Kelly, Senior Director of Strategy at Digital Watchdog. "From a busy entrance to a quiet back hallway, they can now put exactly the right camera in every location, with onboard recording, centralized management and cloud expansion built in. No recorders to install, no wasted capacity, and a faster, more profitable deployment on every job."

The expanded lineup brings CloudCam's all-in-one approach to a wider range of recording needs. Each camera combines local recording storage with preloaded DW Spectrum IPVMS Media Server software, and one recording license preloaded and ready to use. Video is recorded at the camera and can be accessed through the DW Spectrum IPVMS Desktop Client, DW Cloud Web Client and DW Spectrum Mobile App.

The new models retain the imaging, lens and housing features of their 1TB counterparts. Options include a 12MP fisheye, 4K vandal dome, 4K varifocal bullet, 4K ultra-wide-angle bullet, 4K bullet with built-in speakers and lighting, 5MP white-light turret and 5MP bullet with automatic number-plate recognition (ANPR) and vehicle make, model and color recognition (MMCR).

Cameras features:

• Match storage to the installation with 256GB or 512GB of onboard recording capacity, complementing the existing 1TB options.
• Capture detailed video with Star-Light Plus sensors, 120dB true Wide Dynamic Range and Smart DNR 3D noise reduction across all models.
• Focus on relevant activity with object, people and vehicle detection, classification and tracking.
• ALPR/MMCR 5MP bullet cameras read license plates and identify vehicle make, model and color, turning the footage into a searchable database.
• Customize detection with zones, line crossing, intrusion, counting and dwell rules on models with deep-learning analytics.
• Choose the coverage you need: fisheye, ultra-wide-angle or motorized varifocal lenses, with up to 30fps at all supported resolutions.
• Upgrade the cameras to a hybrid cloud solution with DW Cumulus cloud storage expansion up to 64TB.
• Support on-site communication with audio input and output across the lineup with built-in microphones and speakers on supporting models.
• Monitor after dark with infrared illumination or white light on supporting models.
• IP- and IK-rated housing makes all cameras suitable for challenging installation environments.
• Specify confidently with NDAA/TAA compliance, ONVIF conformance and a five-year warranty.
