VMAX IP™ NVRs are designed as part of a complete IP solution. The cameras and NVR are natively integrated to assure complete compatibility between the cameras and the recorder. The cameras are controlled completely from the NVR, for quick and easy installation and set-up.

The VMAX IP™ 8-Channel NVR, combined with VMAX IP and MEGApix® 1080p Cameras, delivers a simple and hassle-free complete network recording surveillance system. The VMAX IP 8-Channel NVR includes an embedded PoE switch to power the IP cameras directly from the NVR. The NVR provides full real-time HD 1080P live streaming and recording, network monitoring, auto and remote firmware upgrade, free and simple DDNS service and event notifications via email or text. DW^®’s VMAX IP Network Video Recorder is designed specifically to operate with DW^®’s MEGApix cameras. Most of the MEGApix cameras can be connected directly to the NVR’s local PoE switch, receiving power and transmitting data to the NVR directly. The list below applies to the 4, 8 and 16 channel VMAXIP models. Some cameras require higher voltage (mainly for IR purposes), and may require an additional PoE injector.
