DW’s Cloud-Optimized Video Archiving (COVA™) NVR is a bridge recording solution for myDW members, combining cloud monitoring and management with on-site storage — Optimized and Secure™.
The COVA bridge NVR is managed through myDW™ cloud-based, with video recorded locally and live, playback, events and user management are done through myDW or the COVA web client.
MyDW® cloud management services integrate Digital Watchdog's (DW) security solution suite onto a single platform for seamless real-time system management. It is a paid subscription health monitoring cloud service giving integrators and dealers instant access to all their customers' surveillance systems online, on a smartphone or a tablet.
COVA NVRs can power up to 16 IP cameras locally from the integrated PoE ports in the back, cutting back on installation time and money.
Record Locally, Access remotely
COVA NVRs record locally on-site, giving users complete control of their data. Playback, search and archiving can be completed remotely via the NVR's web client, C3 CMS and myDW.
Remote User management
User authorization and management is done in myDW, completely separate from the COVA NVR. The result is an added layer of privacy and data protection, keeping users and login credentials safe behind the myDW 2FA.
Encrypted Connection
All data within the COVA NVR and myDW is encrypted and transmitted over secure connections.
NDAA Compliant
